With the summer holidays comes the cries of ‘We are bored’ and ‘I don’t know what to do’ – Maya Toys have heard our yells for help and arrived in the form of Cutie Stix Cut & Create Station!
The girl love customising their own jewellery and are always making their own beaded bracelets from mini kits but this creation station allows them to slice rubber ‘stix’ which comes in a whole host of styles and designs.

The teeny stix are ideal for nail art, the cutie six are perfect for little bracelets for little wrists and the mighty stix are great for centre pieces for larger bracelets and necklaces etc.
The girls found the cutting machine easy enough to use although did need a little help to push down completely through the mighty stix as they just didn’t have the strength in their arms. The cutting unit houses the guillotine completely so no worries about little fingers getting in the way.
The coring unit was really easy to use and the girls found this easier to push down than the guillotine, it was simply a case of popping the cut stick into the case and clipping it into the unit. The door locks securely and again will not push down unless the door is locked making it safe for little ones!
I can see this being a favourite with the girls as the are so many cute designs and emoji stix plus lots of sets available to buy seperately too. The girls have even mentioned making some in Christmas colours as presents for their friends which i think is a fabulous idea!
