The unbroken wishbone symbolises luck and is the bone found above the chest bone in a chicken or fowl. It is sometimes called the ‘merry thought’ and if you have ever had a chicken for Sunday dinner you will know the thrill of drying out the ‘wishbone’ and trying, with an opponent, to win the larger part. The winner gets to make a wish!
There is also a quote I love from the movie Eat, Pray, Love that I adore… Don’t wear your wishbone where your backbone aught to be. I think this is a fabulous quote and something I am trying to live by, I have turned down so many opportunities in the past but from the 1st of March I have vowed to grab every opportunity given to me!
Which is why when I was offered the opportunity to review a piece of jewellery from London Silversmith Hersey & Son, I knew straight away I would opt for the rose gold Wishbone necklace.
Also available in silver and gold, the wishbone necklace is a lovely symbol, bringing positive energy and luck. The charm is attached to an 18 inch rose gold chain which matches the wishbone perfectly. Provided in a Hersey & Son embossed gift box this would make an ideal gift for Mother’s Day too.
I am hoping by wearing this on a daily basis it will give me the courage to say yes more often and make me remember that it is bringing me luck and positivity!
Having spent a little time looking around the website I was delighted to see that there are so many great gift ideas and as it is coming up to my grand daughters first birthday I think a silver keepsake in the form of a necklace with her initial is top of my purchase list! A stunning keepsake gift for when she gets a little older.

I was gifted the necklace for the purpose of this review, all views and opinions are my own and genuine and I purchased the E necklace of my own accord.
Vacations are back, and if you have a destination spot, like Disney, it may be time to consider a Disney Timeshare for your vacation accommodations. First take a look at timeshare resales, as they offer a great price and an affordable entry point into the timeshare marketplace.
For those who prefer a more traditional home-like experience when on vacation, a timeshare can make sense. If you’ve gotten many years of good use out of your timeshare and now want to get rid of it, a timeshare cancellation company like Timeshare Freedom Group or Lonestar transfer may be able to help.
