We have spent an awful lot of time lately looking at where to go on holiday this year, as its just me and the girls I feel like I really need to be careful and choose somewhere that has a great reputation, is safe and also offers something that will make it memorable for all of us.
Having looked at Eurocamp we have decided on camping in France, as it’s not too far from home for our first venture abroad and with it being self catering, we can come and go as we please. The girls are notorious grazers, so to be able to set our own meal times etc is exactly what we were looking for. The holiday homes offer style, quality and comfort, plus it is great to know we will have our own outdoor space as well as a bedroom for each of us.
With over 190 locations across Europe, we were spoiled for choice and were delighted to see that each parc is unique with a wide range of sports and gym facilities, epic pool complexes and spas, as well as kids clubs. Since it is just me and the girls it is good to know that I will have childcare for a day of relaxation at the spa should I need it. We can book extras before we arrive too – including linen and beach towel hire! Eurocamp are the UK’s leading European camping specialists, so it is good to know that even though I don’t have a clue what to expect they will have everything covered.
The girls are learning to swim at the moment, so we have chosen La Bien Assise campsite which has its own pool but is also close to the beach. Bleriot-Plage, Calais is only 14km away and there is a lake 10km away – just the thought of so much water has them giddy with excitement! We wanted somewhere that ticked all of the boxes to make our first holiday abroad a memorable one and I really do think this will take care of everything we are looking for.
XOXO
