We have never really had a family holiday, unless you count a weekend in Scotland during a thunderstorm where we couldn’t really leave the caravan and one of the kids jumped in the deep end of the indoor pool so gave us all a heart attack! So, you can imagine that I spend a lot of time reading through brochures and websites trying to find the ideal holiday for us all!
Something we would all like, beach and scenery for me, new discoveries and local landmarks etc for hubby, nightlife for the older kids and of course something to keep the little ones entertained during the days.
Tall order right?!
I think however I may have found the ideal destination in the form of Pra’Delle Torri in Caorle which is near Venice. Classed as a Holiday Centre this venue offers everything from a Hotel to Camping, has onsite activity parks, Fantasy World (which is filled with inflatable rides for little ones!), restaurants, bars and even its own golf course.
This sea front hotel which is only 1km from the beach is situated in the heart of the Holiday Centre in Caorle, the hotel has 29 Prestige rooms and 39 comfort twin rooms, each with ensuite bathroom, furnished terrace and a covered, reserved parking space.
The hotel boasts its own waterpark, at an impressive 34.000 mq which would keep the kids busy all day every day. My little mermaids would stay in the water 24/7 given half the chance and though I am not keen on splash rides etc you have to admit the chance to visit a beach front waterpark should not be missed!
Listed as number 15 in the top 25 Italian hotels via Trip Advisor 2017 Travellors Choice Pra’Delle Torri has proven time and time again to be a popular choice with tourists.
If sight seeing is your thing Caorle is the perfect destination. Known as the Pearl of the North Adriatic, and the Veneto region where it is situated, Caorle offers tourists a wide choice. Culture cities, the sea, mountains, lake and religious sites – this rich region has everything.
