In an effort to keep up with my bullet journal I have decided to create a regular section on the blog where I detail what I have been, and will be, working on. I really don’t need a day to day diary and I think this is why I have given up so quickly in the past.

For years I have watched people create daily spreads and visual diaries, even trying to replicate them myself. It has taken a long time to realise my bujo is just that! MINE! I can create the pages as I wish… It doesn’t have to be the same as everyone elses! Mine does not have to have the diary part if I am not going to use it. Goodness knows why it took me so long to figure this out but thankfully here I am, ready and raring to go! (disclaimer – it also features some of the cool Stabilo pens I was kindly sent)

My first spread for June is a daily self care/routine checklist. I marked down and colour coded each of the ‘things’ I wish to complete each day. The box on the bottom half of the page is a daily grid of 9 squares which should be full if I have managed to complete each step.

My second spread is a blog schedule run down for the month. I am really excited about getting back to posting regularly and, after having a break, I am bursting with ideas. This grid is for the full month and is colour co ordinated with which activity is planned daily.

As I draft each blog post I will write across the box which date it is scheduled to go live. This way I can see at a glance which posts and days are ready to go and which ones I need to work on. This is perfect as I may have a day where I create 4 or 5 recipes, in which case once the posts are written and scheduled, most of the orange dates can be filled.

I will be updating how these are going but I am also hoping to share more spread ideas, hopefully some worksheets too focusing on handwriting styles, templates etc.
