Summer is well and truly upon us now and the need for holiday clothes is in full swing. I have always been a huge fan of dressing up, whether it be for drinks with the girls or a meal out with loved ones. There is something special about feeling good in what you wear.

I have chosen 4 pieces that I could see me wearing both day and night, for multiple occasions and situations.
First up is the stunning Curve Beige Brown Spot Pleated Wrap Dress in size 16. The skirt is mid length which is perfect for me being just 5.1, it skims my calf so ideal for wearing with either heels for a night out or baseballs boots/sandals to dress down. The balloon sleeves are super comfortable yet light enough to not be too warm in the sun. My only issue was the boob area – I am 38DD and not overly ample but the deep V neck just came a tad too low. Nothing that couldn’t be solved with a simple popper or safety pin – or even a pretty lace camisole!
Next up is my absolute favourite ‘witchy vibes’ dress. This is the YOURS London Black Dobby Pleat Skirt Midi Dress. With a classic collar and belted waist this dress could easily be switched up from daytime lunch with the girls to night time vamp! The balloon sleeves are sheer and add a beautiful touch to the floaty nature of this dress. Again mid length and soft pleated skirt make this a twirl lovers dream!
It wouldn’t be summer without a long black dress and I just love the tropical vibes this one gives off! This black floral V neck swing dress is so pretty and lightweight, sleeveless too so perfect for hot summer nights or days out. Made from comfortable jersey fabric with a tie waist and fashionable midaxi length. I adore this dress as it is just so comfortable to wear, the jersey material stretches with you and doesn’t restrict after a big meal! Bonus!
My favourite day dress that just screams summer in the country is this adorable limited edition square neck rust/orange spot print dress. Again size 16 fit perfectly without skimming over lumps and bumps. I felt so comfortable in this dress all day long and wore it as an off the shoulder dress rather than pulling the cap sleeves up. Versatile in that it can be worn both ways depending on the time and event you are wearing it to. Such a beautiful colour that I will most definitely be taking into autumn with me – a cream baggy cardigan and ankle boots will make this dress cover both seasons!
