During the month we get sent a lot of things to trial, review or simply just to see if we like. I thought it would be a good idea to showcase them all in a What’s New style post where I can let you all know about the things we have loved…and also those things that maybe aren’t as great as they could be!
What’s New.
First up this month is something we all really enjoyed and being a bread lover is something we will definitely be purchasing again. We were sent a hamper of goodies from Baker Street, available from both Nisa & Spar these packs of fresh rolls and buns are great for BBQ weather.
We had the burgers last weekend and the rolls were the perfect size for our tea, great for one each but also available in a larger size for those more meaty treats! With hot dog buns too I can see this being a go to for us now! RRP: £1.39 per pack.
Something I have wondered about for a while are the fads that seem to grip superstars and filter down to us mere mortals. One thing I never thought I would be trying though is Oxygen in a can! YES you heard that right. Breathable pure oxygen…loved by the likes of Kanye! (so not a selling point for me!) lol Boost Oxygen is reported to help against the signs of ageing and stress.
I received the Pink Grapefruit scent which is uplifting and soothing. The zesty fragrance is a real pick me up and can also boost metabolism. To be honest I’m not sure I have noticed a difference but it is a quirky novelty item that is a little fun to use! RRP: £21
I love my candles and have them all around the house, literally every single room. So when Get On My Wick contacted me to review one of their jar candles I knew that would be a yes! The British 100% soy candle brand based in Berkshire have released a range of candles that are free from paraffin wax, palm wax, lead, chemical fragrance oils and dyes.
I chose the pomegranate fragrance which is delicious and on par with any of the ‘named’ pomegranate candles on the market. The scent throw was good but not over powering and the design, labelling etc is minimal so great for those who like more simple home decor. The new launch includes Lavender Spa, Amber Noir and Pomegranate & Amber. RRP: £7.50 for 190ml
