Moving home can be stressful at the best of times but moving to a village where you don’t know anyone is even worse. Thankfully when we moved we hit it very lucky and have made some fabulous friends (one who is now blogging too!) With fabulous new friends come new ideas and never before have I even thought about having a hot tub in the garden!
Said friends have one (and to be honest I think half the village do!) and I have been in once… that was enough to convert me to wanting one of our own….our own little red hot paradise in the back garden where we can hang out once the littlies are in bed!
I am still in the process of trying to convince hubby we need a hot tub so with that here are my top 4 reasons we need a hot tub this summer!
From adding value to your home, to party-hosting – there are untold benefits to splashing out and purchasing a hot tub this summer.
Once a luxury reserved for the rich and famous, it’s now actually feasible to have a little bit of decadence in your house that will give your years of happiness and enjoyment. Here are 5 reasons why you should take the plunge, invest in a great tub with a Grundfos hot water pump, and reap the rewards over a glass of champagne as the sun goes down.
While winding down amongst the jets and whirls isn’t exactly a calorie burner, a session in a hot tub does actually offer some great health benefits. The warm, pulsating water increases blood supply to joints and relieve you of aches and pains, while specialised jets that move up and down the spine can actually help reduce back pain for those that suffer. An evening soak if also perfect for those who sometimes struggle to drop off come bedtime as the body temperature is raised and helps your ability to fall asleep. It’s practically a medical necessity!
If you get a tub big enough for a few people, you’ll soon be the most popular neighbour on your street. Forget boring BBQ’s and game nights round yours – you can up the ante and host glamourous hot tub parties for your friends and family. Just make sure everyone remembers their bathing suits!
After a long day at work, or a heavy gym-session sometimes you just need a massage – but partners aren’t always so willing to play masseuse. With a hot tub, you can hop in and have your muscles and joints soothed within seconds of being home – from specialist jets that work your feet, up to pulsating shots of water that relieve tension in the neck, each nook and cranny of your body can be relaxing within the comfort of your own home.
Hot tubs aren’t just great for relaxing and parties – they can also make quite the feature in your home too. You can purchase one that can create fabulous fountain shows, or perhaps a tub with LED lighting which can set your garden alight come the evening. You can even create your very own spa around which will really make you wonder how you coped with just a few plants and a battered old BBQ in your garden before!
See hubby we definitely need one and I can assure you once you have taken a dip you won’t regret it!
XOXO
