We got some very special news recently and are also excited to bring you a giveaway at the same time! Evie was recently asked to become a Lottie Doll Ambassador and we couldn’t be happier!
The Lottie Dolls represent everything young childrens toys should, they are dressed in bright and tactile outfits while accompanied with accessories which encourage outdoor play. The dolls have the proportions of a 9 year old child and actually look like children!
Our vision, when we first created Lottie, was to develop a range of dolls that would empower children to be them-selves, to be imaginative and adventurous and – most of all – to have fun. We believe that childhood should be an inclusive place where every child belongs regardless of gender, ethnicity or ability. And we’ve made it our mission to do our bit – no matter how small – to protect childhood.
Evie received her parcel which contained Pandora’s Box and Pony Club Lottie, which comes complete with horse and riding gear. The look on Evies face as she opened the boxes was something else, she has never really been a big ‘fashion doll’ fan as we haven’t encouraged the unrealistic images they portray so to see her open these and exclaim that they looked like real little girls was beautiful!
Pony Club Lottie is a firm favourite as Evie is horse obsessed at the minute and really wants to go for horse riding lessons, this of course meant that we had to watch Lottie trot around the room and play most of the day, describing the different equipment and trot, gallop etc!
Pandora’s Box is a cute if even just for that duffel coat and hat! I mean, who wouldn’t to dress like that in real life, I have a similar hat in black so I think I will have to try and source Evie one of the lighter colour ones this winter!
We also love that a couple of the Lottie Dolls wear glasses, that is something you don’t usually find with fashion dolls. Amelia has red hair and again that is something that is embraced with Lottie – finding dolls that can represent ALL little girls is actually an amazing concept and we are firmly behind them every step of the way!
We are delighted to be able to offer one lucky reader one of the Pandora’s Box Lottie Dolls! All you need to do is enter via the widget below and the winner will be contacted directly.
Good Luck!
XOXO
Debbie
