Every year I love filling the girls Christmas Eve box with goodies and treats but this year instead of just refilling the same old box I thought I would try something a little different. Something that they can keep all year round and can use for birthdays etc too.
Our Christmas Eve box this year is less of a ‘box’ and more of a hamper thanks to the lovely people over at HobbyCraft who allowed me to pick out the actual hamper and also some bits to make our hamper even more special this year!
Who doesn’t love a good hamper at Christmas?!
As always we have our new PJs, this year the girls chose their own, from Matalan, as I think they are more excited about the prep for festivities this year and not just the overall getting of presents. I wanted them to be involved as much as possible so have chosen bits to add that are going to be fun for us to do too.
The book to read and the puzzles will keep them busy while I am making the hot chocolate, the Magic Snow and Magic Bubbles (also from Hobbycraft) will provide a lot of giggles and apparently the snow makes a mountain so I think we might keep those two contained to the bathroom on Christmas Eve!
The girls also have these fabulous little milk bottles and pink paper straws from Hobbycraft, eco all the way here! The bottles each have their names thanks to my sister and her fab small business, Bella Boos Gifts. I plan on having chocolate milk in for our Christmas Eve treat incase the girls are sick of hot chocolate by this point.
What would Christmas be with out over indulging in chocolate and these super cute Cheeky Elves from Thorntons are bound to taste delicious! Every year we get something from their Christmas range and are yet to be disappointed – they can be personalised too! While the girls are devouring their elves I have sneaked a little treat in there for me too, marshmallows from Fine Food Specialists.
I still need to find a DVD of something we haven’t seen yet. Do you know a good Christmas movie that is either little known or likely not to have been watched a million times?
Do you make up a Christmas Eve Box each year? What does yours contain?
XOXO
Debbie
I was gifted a number of the above items – all views and opinions are my own and genuine.
I always love seeing what other people put in their Christmas Eve box especially as it’s the first year we are doing one. Love what you have put inside yours!
Oh wow you are so organised!! I havent even started yet! I need to get a move on!
What a lovely hamper and a different take on the Christmas Eve box. As for a movie, netflix has a new movie is Russel Crow i think is his surname and looks amazing
Love the items here. We have never done the Christmas Eve box thing. Will try it maybe next year.
I love your Christmas Eve hamper- what a clever idea. Ours usually has pjs, choccy and the promise of a new iTunes movie ?
