A little while ago I was asked by the lovely Catherine over at Here Come The Hoopers to buddy up for a Christmas Gifting Challenge with AO.com. Having worked with them in the past on reviews I jumped at the chance and found out what would be involved.
We were to select 3 items from a list of AO’s Top 10 gifting products for 2017. With gifts such as coffee machines, food mixers, vaccuum cleaners and more there was definitely something for everyone. We had to send our choices to AO as a shortlist of possibilities. Catherine knows me only too well and I was gifted with a monster of a coffee machine!
After opening the De’Longhi Eletta Cappuccino Bean to Cup Coffee Machine I have to admit to freaking out a little, OK a lot! This is a coffee machine that dreams are made of! Not only does it create everything from a straight up long coffee to a macchiato, it also has a special milk menu so you can customise your perfect luxurious latte or frothy cappuccino. The milk carafe is integrated for a seamless design and there’s even a handy cup warmer.
The milk carafe can be detached and popped in the fridge so that you don’t waste any milk and I am also trying to get to grips with the settings so that I can wake up to freshly brewed coffee!
I love the smell of freshly ground coffee, it seems to fill the whole house. Being able to pick the size of coffee I want is perfect for me as most of the day I am rushing around, so knowing I can grab a hot half size cappuccino without having to waste most of it is ideal. Other coffee machines have let me down in the past with features and excessive guides, the Eletta may look like it should take an encyclopedia to operate but it is really straight forward and the instruction booklet is simple to read with minimum fuss.
Thank you so much to Catherine for choosing such a fabulous gift and to AO for hosting this fabulous challenge. Catherines review of the Blu Ray she received as her gift is live here.
