Weird Fish – Arlene Waterproof Jacket. *Review

Having worked with Weird Fish in the past I was delighted to be offered the chance to review the new Arlene Waterproof Jacket on our recent holiday.  with it being in the UK I just knew it would come in handy as showers were promised during the week away.

As always the quality of Weird Fish clothing is second to none, the attention to detail is simply perfect and you can tell they are products that will last many seasons.  The jacket I was sent is a classic stripe in cream and navy so goes with everything too.

One thing I love is that the fabric is waterproof but still so soft and it doesn’t have that plastic feeling that a lot of winter coats do.

The jacket has lots of pockets which is perfect now we have Poppy to walk, poop bags and everything else needed when walking with both dogs and kids are a nightmare to have to juggle so a multitude of pockets comes in so handy.

Having taken my sisters dog on holiday too this was the ideal opportunity to try it out on the hill tops and I have to admit it kept me so much warmer than other jackets have that are considerably thicker too.  Weird Fish magic!

The hood is very spacious which is great as i tend to wear my hair in a mum bun and can struggle to get the hood up on other jackets – nightmare especially if it starts to splash it down mid dog walk!

There is a drawstring around the waist to pull the jacket in and fit snug against the wind and Autumn weather.  As always the jacket has the Weird Fish logo on the sleeve and around the drop hem which also covers my bottom too so gives me a little more confidence to layer up in the cold!
