One of the most important things in any office is of course the clock! Normally it’s the thing you look at most of the day wishing away the hours and hoping home time is rolling round, however when you work from home you tend to get carried away and work all hours of the day! I have been known to crawl into bed at 3am after declaring at 10pm that ‘I just need to edit this last photo’… famous last words!
Bloggers love a good theme and none more so than the whole copper/rose gold theme that everyone has at the moment – add in a bit of white marble and you can almost hear the blogging squeals for miles!
RedCandy kindly gave me free reign to choose something for my new office and I knew exactly what I would like have browsed the wall clock section.
This fabulous Karllson Maxie Copper Clock is a bloggers dream accessory! With a smooth pink tinged hue and stark white face, the design is effortless and would work with any home decor. I love that it is a decent size without being oversize and over powering, the novelty factor soon wears off items and I can see this being a piece I will gladly hold on to despite my usual request to change decor every few months!
I am currently trying to switch the conservatory from toy play room into my office, all of my blogging and crafting goodies are taking over the house so we decided it would be best to contain me to one room and the conservatory took the short straw. I think it was actually the closest hubby could get to moving all my stuff outside but lets not dwell on that one – thankfully office principles are not an issue within our household!
Although I am still looking for the perfect desk I am finding little bits and pieces that promise to make my days a little more exciting and most of them are in the form of either rose gold or copper accessories that will adorn my desk. Cute little cacti that stand no purpose other than the fact i have the most un-green fingers ever and manage to kill off anything that even resembles a plant, stationery of all colours and of course motivational prints for the walls to keep me gee’d up on a regular basis! My clock is now in pride of place and I am one step closer to having my own little sunroom office!
