Squidgydoodle Unicorns & Rainbows Craft Kit *Review

One thing we can always rely on doing when the weather turns bad is crafts and this week we were lucky enough to be sent one of the Squidgydoodle Unicorn & Rainbow craft kits to review.

Included in the kit are a range of projects for everyone and children age 3-8, from rainbow scrape painting to creating your own slime.  There are a total of 4 projects inside the box which can also be bought as individual crafts for £3 each, you can mix and match or just go for the one full pack at £12.00

The box is small enough to fit through the letterbox so great if you are out at work all week and looking for something to do on a weekend with the little ones.  The girls loved the paint scrape project and how the rainbow made itself with just a few little drops of paint and a piece of card.

The rainbow crayon was one of Amelias favourites and she was in awe of the fact she could colour with more than one shade at a time.  Her Unicorn headband was just the cutest after she had stuck on the little bits of tissue and sequins – we had glitter everywhere!!

I think our favourite project of all was the homemade slime.  It was a little sachet of cornflour which we mixed with a little water, then the girls got to drop 3 little fizzy tablets which bubbled and created the most amazing patterns.  I need to find out if we can buy more of these fizzy tablets seperately as the girls want to try a few different experiments.
