One of the joys of being a parent is the mountain of dishes that 6 children can create! Why do they hoard dishes in their rooms and try to cultivate new species? Maybe its a good thing and they are studying to become chemists… (I can be hopeful right?!)
We also moved to private rented accommodation in November where there are so many problems that when the dishwasher gave up we decided not to put up a fight for a new one but just to suck it up and do what we did sans dishwasher and wash by hand.
As a family we are big on recycling and environmental issues so try to use household products that are good for the eco system as well as being soft on the skin too. All of our children have sensitive skin so we need to be careful as it is with clothes washing liquids and powders so we know the Ecover name well having used their products previously.
With 35 years cleaning experience under their belt, Ecover knows what they are doing and even their bottles are derived from sugar cane so 100% recyclable. Made in clean green factories with naturally derived fragrances Ecover washing up liquid now cleans 40% more dishes than their previous version and is safe for septic tanks too.
Having spent the last couple of weeks handing out samples of the Camomile and Marigold Washing up liquid for the fabulous TalktoMums I can safely say the feedback I have received has been amazing! Some people have been using this as they have eczema on their hands and the ingredients are so pure, the irritations are no more.
Another lady mentioned that she uses it as bubble bath for her little ones as she knows that the bubbles are soft and last long enough to play with too! Spreading the #greencanclean message has been both fun and educational, I have learned that you don’t have to forgo quality to help the environment and that the amount of bubbles does not equate to cleaning power!
Another happy Ecover convert!
