Keeping the kids entertained in lock down is proving difficult for everyone. None of us want to be stuck in doors indefinitely so finding new things to do with little ones is important right now.
Spinmaster sent me some products to keep the kids entertained and this is how it all played out…
Amelia loves Kinetic sand and it was one of her most played with Christmas presents. So, when we received the Kinetic Sand Rainbow Mix set which includes everything you need to create the colours of the rainbow. The three primary colours of Kinetic Sand (red, yellow and blue), castle containers, scoop and tools all provide a great way of learning colour combinations. Mixing shades to create others and knowing its not going to dry out is perfect for little ones who forget to put it away after use!
The girls often talk about watching ASMR videos where they slice kinetic sand etc and loved recreating their own little scenarios. I have to admit I find it really therapeutic to watch and it does feel good when it pours through your fingers in long strings!
The Kinetic Sand Rainbow Mix Set is available online from Amazon, Smyths, Argos and The Entertainer and is suitable for ages 3+
Evie is a total girly girl and loves make up and nail varnish, she is 10 now so allowed to wear a little when playing etc. She was overjoyed when she found The Go Glam Cool Maker Nail Stamper was winging its way to her.
Inside the box is the Go Glam Nail Stamper, 5 pattern pods, 2 nail varnishes, 1 top coat, 1 nail file and a stamper bag to store everything in.
The stamper was super simple to use and required no technical know how or dexterity etc. There are 6 print stamps to choose from including cats and unicorns, cakes etc. You simply choose the nail varnish you want to use, paint your nails and wait for 2 minutes before popping your finger in the stamper machine.
You gently press down and the image transfers from the machine onto the nail bed. Clear varnish is then applied over the top to stop it from coming off.
This is a great little decorative tool to make accessorising more exciting!
Priced at £20 this is available from Argos, The Entertainer, Smyths and Amazon. Age 8+ ( which I think is down to the nail varnish as there are no small parts) Amelia (5) managed to use it no problem with supervision.
We were kindly sent these items for the purpose of a review, all views and opinions are my own and genuine.
For those who prefer a more traditional home-like experience when on vacation, a timeshare can make sense. If you’ve gotten many years of good use out of your timeshare and now want to get rid of it, a timeshare cancellation company like Timeshare Freedom Group or Lonestar transfer may be able to help.
