For me there is always one thing that makes me happy no matter how down or upset I am – Shopping! I love that its a way for me and my daughter in law to bond too. It also looks like it is hereditary as my grandaughter is a little shopper too!
We were given the chance to review the Smoby Supermarket and I knew who would just love this! Emmii! I was so excited to get it built up ready for them visiting this week.

The box is packed with everything you need to complete not only a supermarket stall and checkout but shopping trolley and groceries too.

Each piece is sturdy plastic and clipped together really easy. The instructions were really clear and simple to follow. Overall it took me around 25 minutes to put it fully together including adding stickers and building up the cereal boxes etc. As a leader in the market Smoby is trusted by parents and has been for generations. Their indoor roleplay toys are continually updated with modern features for a truly realistic experience.

Fill up your weekly shop in the shopping trolley. At the checkout counter is an electronic cash register, a real calculator with LCD screen and an electronic barcode scanner with lights and sounds features and a mechanical scale. Customers can pay for their shopping using the credit card reader and a ticket dispenser will generate their receipt. The supermarket includes a fresh food and pastries area for you to shop in. Includes 41 accessories and shopping trolley.

Each piece was clearly labelled and easily slot together with a simple click feature. Which is great as it also means you can take it apart to store etc if not in use.

The items that needed to be put together for the market shelves are sturdy and well thought out. Cereal and milk are things little ones love to have so will relate to rather than tins of tomatoes etc which are usual stock with toy supermarkets!

The shelves were easy to install and simply clipped to the front and side of the market stall. Each item is chunky and great for little hands.

Emmii adores the interactive nature of the Smoby supermarket, the barcode scanner with sounds and lights brought out the cutest smile. She seriously could work in Aldi – this girl was flying things through the checkout!

Overall we adore this supermarket and there are more than enough features to keep little ones busy for hours. Recommended for children age 3+ and available from all leading toy stockists including Argos RRP £50
