Thursday night saw the launch of the new SHOPKINS™: WORLD VACATION movie and having mentioned before about how much the girls love Shopkins we were asked to host a launch party!
You can only image the excitement when the box of goodies arrived ready for our party, containing posters and lots of printables including passports, games and popcorn cones, a magazine, colouring book, 2018 Annual, sticker book, cookie mix, cookies, lockable diary, pens, Season 8 5 pack of Shopkins and Macy Macaron Shopkins shoppie doll set.
Since the girls couldn’t wait to get the movie on we are actually having 2 launch parties – one on Thursday night after bath and another tonight when we will be spending time making the cones and displaying the posters, learning dance moves and making the delicious boxed cookies too – check out my instagram for pictures!
The new movie centers around Kookie Cookie visiting the UK and being at the centre of a diamond heist before going missing. Her friends discover she has been transformed into a must have trend and this sparks a chase around the world to bring her back with the diamond before the Biscuit Bandits get their hands on her! I am giving nothing else away, we are watching it again today but watch out for Evies favourite character (although she is trouble – Macy Macaron)
There are both laugh out loud and nerve racking moments in the movie but needless to say the girls thoroughly enjoyed it all – even more so that they were lucky enough to have the characters with them watching the movie!
The thing I love about Shopkins is that the girls get so excited opening the blind bags and finding which character they have gained – needless to say we now have the World Vacation chart on the bedroom wall and I have been told WE NEED THEM ALL! Santa best be saving his pennies!
