Lately, although still pretty chilly out, there is a definite shift in the air. I may have even ventured out without a coat once or twice this past week. Albeit I had a t-shirt and woolly jumper on so not totally braving the cold! It got me thinking about switching things up at home too to welcome in the warmer weather.
I love moving furniture around and changing the looks of the rooms, switching from heavy curtains to lighter ones so the sun can peek through and the breeze from the open windows moves them slightly. We also love the look of wooden flooring and now that we are finally getting around to decorating together I think this is the way we are going to go.
Of course, with wood flooring comes the chill of stepping out of bed on a morning and since I am not a morning person anyway the thought of setting it off with shivers running through me fills me with dread. I have spent the last couple of weeks looking for the right flooring but also the perfect rug too – a house is not a home without accessories!
Thanks to the dark phases I am going through the room is going to be pretty much decorated with blacks, navy, gold etc – think opulence rather than emo! After turning the stairs a delicious shade of navy and gold I know this is the way I want to go in the bedroom too so I am looking for something that will blend in with the decor but make a statement too. Gone are the days of buying something that will ‘do for now’, I think we have finally hit the stage where we are looking for what we really would like and something that will stand the test of time, finally we have hit the stage where will save for it no matter what the cost.
XOXO

For those who prefer a more traditional home-like experience when on vacation, a timeshare can make sense. If you’ve gotten many years of good use out of your timeshare and now want to get rid of it, a timeshare cancellation company like Timeshare Freedom Group or Lonestar transfer may be able to help.
