Evie is unicorn obsessed, seriously if it has a unicorn involved, on it or around it she has to have it! So, when we were offered the chance to review the new Bayala Unicorns from Schleich I just knew the girls would jump at the opportunity!
I expected them to be the same as any other unicorn ‘ornaments’ that we have but the wonderful thing about these ones is that they are so detailed and create a whole world of imaginative play as they are designed for play and not just to look at! We received both the Decorated Unicorn Mare and The Decorated Pegasus Stallion so not your typical animals that the girls would see at any point in their lives – although we do like to think that Unicorns are real and living with the fairies!
At the heart of bayala there live graceful elves and many enchanted beings. Discover a fantastical world of friendship, magic and adventure. Visit the elves, unicorns and magical horses in the fantastical world around the magical elf castle. Immerse yourself in the colourful mermaid world of Meamare and prepare to be enchanted. Join the mermaid Isabell in her royal seashell carriage for a trip along the colourful coral reefs or watch the other mermaids gliding weightlessly through the water on their seahorses.
The attention to detail is second to none, we were taken aback by the gem stones and glitter detail in the hair, tail and wings. They are a solid play thing too and can withstand Amelia flying them through the air as they take off on another glorious adventure. We now would love all of the animals in the series and have already spotted a Rainbow Unicorn Mare that the girls have their eyes on for the next addition.
The magic continues: Schleich is expanding its magical bayala world of elves to include additional figurines and play-sets. Little fantasy fans can explore the fairy-tale world and let their imagination run free by playing with the magical creatures including the beautiful new Unicorns.
Available from Schleich – £14.99 each
