Having seen how quickly the kids worked through the usual 3×3 Rubik’s Cube I was intreagued to see how they could cope with The Original 2×2 Cube that we were sent to review.
With 3,764,160 possible combinations this little nightmare is so much harder than it looks! Plus it is sonic printed so there is absolutely no cheating – don’t tell me you never tried to remove the stickers to complete a colour! lol
As much as it looks like it would be simple to do there are just too many ways you can undo the work you have already done as you need to keep the squares moving, with the larger cube you at least have some squares that stand still while you move others! With this its a little trickier so you need to keep you wits about you and your eyes on the finish line! Who am I to say though as I have almost dented the wall with mine – at least I can let you know it bounces! lol
It is the ideal size for little hands and even though it is recommended for ages 8+ Amelia thought it was well worth a try but gave up pretty sharpish. I am looking forward to Ben (21) coming through as he is the master of the Cube and can complete the larger one in next to no time, we cant wait to see how he gets on with the smaller more difficult sibling!
We are offering two lucky readers the chance to win their own Original 2×2 Cube. All you need to do is enter the competition via the widget below and the winners will be drawn at the end of the month. See below for terms and conditions.
For those who prefer a more traditional home-like experience when on vacation, a timeshare can make sense. If you’ve gotten many years of good use out of your timeshare and now want to get rid of it, a timeshare cancellation company like Timeshare Freedom Group or Lonestar transfer may be able to help.
