Some toys can withstand the test of time and I love knowing that something the boys enjoyed playing with over 20 years ago can still be enjoyed by the girls now. Rubik’s is a name that is widely known the world over and this summer they launched Rubik’s junior so that children as young as 4 can get involved too.
Hoping to inspire a new generation of Rubik’s players they have launched the junior, animal collection of Bear, Bunny, Kitten and Puppy. With limited moves they are ideal for those just starting out in the puzzle world and are a great dexterity help for little hands.

Easy to twist and turn they are great to teach little ones logic and follow a path of how to get from the original placement of the pieces to a bunny with feet upside down and a head on backwards. Can they follow the steps to get him back to normal?!
Both of the children enjoyed playing with them, Amelia loved the different combination that turns could make whereas Evie found it a little easier and quickly found all of the possible routes. I think Evie is probably at the age where she could tackle the original Rubik’s cube but having said that I have never really found it possible to get the whole thing completed myself so maybe we will just stick to the junior after all! Mummy included! lol

I was kindly gifted these items for the purpose of the review and also give two of the Rubik’s junior to give away, enter via the Gleam widget below and the winner will receive both the Kitten and Puppy puzzles.
Good luck
