Imagination plays a huge part in childhood development, feeling comfortable with characters and figures from TV shows means that they can act out their favourite parts and role play different scenarios. Add into the mix a true to the show, 3 story house that looks just like the iconic Pig family home then you are onto a sure fire winner.
Peppa’s Family Home is a 14 piece playset which includes an articulated Peppa Pig figure, opening doors, six rooms, 4 chairs, table, bunk bed, toy basket, computer table with computer, mirror, bath, chair and trike. Spread over 3 stories of brightly coloured tough plastic this will stand the test of a robust 3 year old with a tendency to be a little heavy handed! The front door actually opens too which adds another realistic dimension to the house.
On the ground floor is the kitchen with table and chairs plus living room with sofa. The kitchen also has built in white goods! The second floor houses the bathroom and bedroom with bunk beds and articulated Peppa. Mummy is in the office on the third floor along with George and his trike in the attic.
Amelia was a little dissapointed that only Peppa was included, George, mummy pig and daddy pig are all cardboard so would not stand up to being played with much and Peppa has a tendancy to get lonely when alone in her house! Why no one else is included I am not sure? This would have been a huge plus point for us as Amelia was a little bored after a while of just playing with the one figure. Then again I don’t know anyone who doesn’t already have an abundance of Pig family figures they could add to the set for hours of fun! lol
