Another week, another list of my favourites from the past 7 days. This week has been super busy what with Evie being off school poorly and then Amelia catching the bug yesterday, so since Thursday morning I have struggled to get much done – well, except some one handed typing with a clammy little girl sleeping on my arm!
My diary is starting to fill up nicely and I have just booked some interesting projects for the next month or so, the boys are especially excited for a project lined up for early March!
OK, this week I am linking up as always with Coffee, Work, Sleep, Repeat for another edition of #LittleLoves.
Started to read Ada’s Rules, its about Ada Howard, a preachers wife who has a lot of people to take care of and hasn’t been taking care of herself. She is suspicious that her busy husband is being taken care of by some other woman…. When an invitation comes through to her college reunion Ada started with plans to lose over 100 pounds and begins an unforgettable journey on the way to less weight and more love!
So far I’m loving it but I am only a couple of chapters in, for some reason as soon as my head hits the pillow I’m out like a light so I might have to schedule some non night time reading to actually get through this!
While I am working on the laptop I like to have background noise so tend to flick through the box set lists on Sky. Having worked my way through most of the new ones I came across a new listing for The Whispers, a series about children talking to an imaginary friend who turns out to be a little something more than just an imaginary friend! I love it – Evie is loving it too so its something we are watching together and now 6 episodes in things are starting to piece together and some things are being answered….still lots of loose ends though so lots more to look forward to!
One of my friends shared this video on Facebook and I was mesmerised – after you watch the very quick intro its amazing to see the whole thing play out in slow motion. Watch to the end!
I have been cooking and baking up a storm! My meal plan for the week has gone well (with a little hiccup today as I have ordered pizza for the kids – too tired to cook!) so I have been making mains and desserts each day and thoroughly enjoyed it. The recipes have all been written up and pictures taken (yes my tea has been a little colder than everyone elses) but I actually feel like I’m getting somewhere with my foodie blog!
Not even going to entertain this one this week as its mainly been pjs! lol If I have had to leave the house its been straight back into slouchy clothes when I got home, too much to do to not be comfortable! Do you ever have days like that?
Scandal returned! Nuff said…my motto in life is WWOPD – What Would Olivia Pope Do!
XOXO
Debbie

I love the sound of the book you are reading, I must add it to my ‘reading list’
