Bargains I have picked up this past week!
Ok, so most of you probably already know about the American candy selection in Poundworld but WOW I wasn’t prepared for the sight that met me this week instore! We have always had the Wonka selection of Runts or Gobstoppers, maybe the odd bag of Giant Smore Marshmallows now and again but when I popped in the other day there was a whole section dedicated to American candy and cereals etc!
I managed to pick up some Twinkies! We have never had these and despite seeing them on numerous Candy websites we have never taken the plunge and ordered! Poundland had packs of 2 for £1 or boxes of 10 for £3 (with 6 children I couldn’t very well go home with a pack of 2 now could I?!) Now, I think these are an acquired taste – boy are they sweet! I expected sweet cream inside but this is like pure sugar! Nice but maybe not more than 1 a week or so – my hips will thank me honest!
I have a new love and its in the shape of SweeTarts – tangy and crumbly these little sweets only have 60 calories per 13 sweets so should be good for a sugar fix now and again!
Butterfinger Bites are little crunchy butternut goodies! These are delicious and so much less sickly than Reeces cups!
Lucky Charms are a cereal I adore! I can remember having them before they were banned in the UK! We would pick out the little marshmallow pieces and by the time you got to the bottom of the box there was just cereal left which no one wanted! HA These little pots are so cute and I dont actually want to eat it yet – just let me look at it a little longer!
