This year I had so much planned and then after being knocked for six by the Norovirus we all ended up so deflated come Halloween weekend that I threw myself into full party prep! Its no secret we love Halloween having spoken about it on many occasions in posts in the past!
By the Saturday night we were starting to all feel better so I allowed Evie to stay up a little later to help me create some of the party games we would play the following night.
We painted old beans and soup cans to create cats, Frankensteins monster, pumpkins, monsters and mummies. The whole process was so easy and a couple of coats of paint and some googly eyes later we had a great game that the kids loved!
After filling 30 balloons with sweets and blowing them all up ready for a popping good time we moved on to decorating our home. We pinned a stick the smile on the skeleton game to the wall, prepped the apple bobbing trough and made sure we had enough doughnuts for the eating comp!
We set up a drink station which housed monster juice (green limeade) and lots of paper stripe straws and photo props. The kids loved helping themselves to the juice and even Amelia had a little go too! (we ended up having to put a dish underneath as she kept leaving the tap running!) lol
On the night of the party our little witches dressed up in appropriate attire and I have to admit they look pretty darn cute!
A good night was had by all and the grown up got through a decent amount of fizz too which helped the entire night go without a hitch!
Here is to an even bigger and better party next year too!
XOXO
Debbie

Wow you really went to town, it all looks amazing. You have inspired me for 2017!
We don’t really celebrate Halloween all that much, but after seeing this, maybe I’m missing out!
