Everyone loves to be pampered and this year I have been a huge advocate for self care. Taking 5 minutes just to pop on some cream or spending an hour soaking in the bath, we all deserve some time out and I have rounded up some of my favourite things that can help with making those indulgent sessions a little easier.
I wish smellivision was a thing (it should be by now right?!) as this Glam Chic gift set from Grow Gorgeous is the ultimate in hair luxury! Honestly the smell from just opening up the bag is enough to make you want to dive right in. The set includes scalp detox pre wash treatment, 11 in 1 cleansing condition and hair growth serum with dropper, all enclosed in this cute little wrist bag which doubles up as the perfect clutch for a night out! rrp: £35.00 from Grow Gorgeous
Mio is a name that skin care and beauty editors love, with a great reputation and no fuss packaging this is a winner time and time again. I love room sprays, especially ones that are calming or have a sleep effect on the room in which is is sprayed. The Liquid Yoga Space spray is a delicious combo of lemon, cypress, mentha arvensis and lavender to calm, quiet and re-balance a room. Ideal as a bed spray and will not stain pillows I have been spraying this on a night and find it really does help me relax. The natural boar bristle brush with massage nodules exfoliates, revealing smoother, fresher, more vibrant skin. The body butter is a luxuriously thick moisturiser that absorbs quickly into the skin and I love that all of their products are vegan. rrp from: £12.50 from Mio
Last year was the first time I had tried, and subsequently recommended, Olverum. In fact, I love it that much I am recommending it again this year and since I am yet to use the last of the bottle I got over 12 months ago I think it is worth every penny! I like to keep it as a special treat and one bottle can last up to 25 baths, since I use the shower mainly this is something for me to look forward to on a night when the kids have been working themselves and I need a little extra help to chill out! The smell alone is worth it, it fills the whole house and I even had a neighbour ask what I was using as she could smell it while hanging the washing out! rrp: £32 for 125ml available from Olverum
Missguided Unicorn Glow Strobe and Glow Duo, a perfect little pair of highlighters for less than £10! A great stocking filler for any make up fanatic or unicorn lover – I just know Evie is going to love this and the colours are perfect as they are subtle with high gloss, ideal for perky little pink cheeks! rrp: £8.50 from Boots
Another favourite that I already use is Feather & Down, the masters of creating a good night sleep! With multiple gift sets available including everything from eye masks to pillow spray, travel essentials and roll on sleep enhancers there is bound to be something for everyone. The blend of relaxing oils used throughout their products creates a sense of calm. Great for those nights when the kids have been running riot and you just need some thing extra to help drift off! rrp: from £8.00 available from Boots or Feather & Down
Designed by the same guy who’s team engineered Ian Thorpes olympic gold medal winning swimsuit it fits like a glove…in a 3 year test it held its shape, colour and the same silky softness it did when first made! Natural, comfortable, performance underwear from Sueme, ideal for working out as you really don’t feel them at all. They leave no elastic marks and each pair is packaged with a small packet of beech, birch and wildflower seeds to offset the purchase! Giving back is what its all about! rrp: £20.00 from Sueme
Last year I mentioned BUFF in my gift guides and since then I have gone on to purchase a few items including bits for the children, this year I am loving this multi colour beanie bobble hat and can’t wait to wear it! I really don’t think it will be long either as its so much colder than it was last week! Buff make all kinds of winter wear for any member of the family. rrp: £29.00
If I was to be stranded on an island and only given a handful of things to take with me, one of those things would be a good candle! I love nothing more than closing the blinds on a night and lighting some candles, it instantly relaxes me and when you add in a gorgeous scent then you are definitely on to a winner with me! This 3 wick Colony candle from Wax Lyrical is ideal for Christmas in the scent of Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh – a heady strong aroma that fills the air with everything festive! rrp: £15.00
I am a sucker for face masks and love the new sheet mask craze that seems to have taken the world by storm! They are so much easier and less messy to apply than liquid or gel and the fact they can be removed in one ‘peel’ means that they are the perfect solution for time lacking women and mums. These sheet masks by Oh K!, which are made in Korea, start from £6.00 from OhKLife
I am a fan of keeping leg hair in Winter, its an extra layer to keep you warm after all but obviously Christmas parties and the like do dictate that I go hair free now and again! This year I will embrace smooth with this gift set perfect for the beauty lover, promising silky soft legs for even the most sensitive of skin. Including a Venue Embrace Sensitive handle, 3x refill blades, a Satin Care Shave Gel and some warm fuzzy socks, this is the ultimate stocking filler for any girl or woman in your life. rrp: £19.99 from Superdrug
After visiting a spa with my mum earlier this year I know it is something I would like to do on a regular basis, even if it is just to spend quality time together. Red Letter Days give you hundreds of options for days out and experiences that would appeal to anyone! The Blissful Spa Day for 2 can be redeemed at over 80 locations within the UK and consists of a full day at the spa and one 25 minute treatment each. At a reduced price of £55 for two this is definitely something I can see me signing up to again and again.

For those who prefer a more traditional home-like experience when on vacation, a timeshare can make sense. If you’ve gotten many years of good use out of your timeshare and now want to get rid of it, a timeshare cancellation company like Timeshare Freedom Group or Lonestar transfer may be able to help.
