About time too!
I have been blogging now for over 10 years and it is only this past couple of months that I can say I finally feel comfortable in my own little corner of the internet. For far too long I was hung up on stats and how many followers I had (I have even removed the followers box from the right hand panel!). It would ruin a whole day if I saw that I had lost followers, seriously, I would have feelings of not being good enough and actually feel sick to the pit of my stomach wondering if I had accidentally offended someone! Why did they leave? Was it something I said? Maybe I shouldn’t talk about the kids/make-up/life so much! Its taken me a long time to get to the point where I am writing down MY thoughts, in MY little space, sharing what WE are doing as a family etc and if people don’t want to read that, then you know what, THAT’S OK! I don’t have to please everyone, I don’t have to write for the masses or cover every topical issue just so that my blog stays at the forefront of everyones mind or is re-tweeted into the stratosphere!
Too many people are hung up on saying the right things and doing what is popular – find your own space and do what feels good for YOU!
My little space is about just that! It’s a diary for me to vent, share, log the things we do and look back at some of the great times we have had as family. There will be times I look back and think maybe an over share but isn’t that what you do in a diary?! lol
I have realised I’m not just a mummy blogger, I love writing about make up and doing reviews on places and items that I might think you will enjoy too. I love the photography side of it and setting up the shots, I love shopping for those little extras you take no notice of in the photograph but make the backgrounds perfect! I love joining in with link ups on other blogs and sharing a common ground with lots of other bloggers! I would love to grow my blog with regular features, collaborating with other bloggers and having a scheduled posting system – it keeps me on track and helps me stay stress free instead of constantly panicking about not posting for a few days and what will I write. Days out and trips seem more focussed and my spending is kept to a list of what I need instead of what I think will look good!
I love that one day the kids can look back and say WOW, mum baked with Ainsley Harriott and Kirstie Allsopp – not once but TWICE, she had a phonecall with Bear Grylls and she got to attend some fabulous events and all because of her own little space on the internet! The internet isn’t the big scary place it is made out to be…we can make it pretty – one beautifully lit, beautifully written blog post at a time!
XOXO

Vacations are back, and if you have a destination spot, like Disney, it may be time to consider a Disney Timeshare for your vacation accommodations. First take a look at timeshare resales, as they offer a great price and an affordable entry point into the timeshare marketplace.
For those who prefer a more traditional home-like experience when on vacation, a timeshare can make sense. If you’ve gotten many years of good use out of your timeshare and now want to get rid of it, a timeshare cancellation company like Timeshare Freedom Group or Lonestar transfer may be able to help.
I always have a treat breakfast on a monday, so a chocolate croissant or a bacon sarnie! Makes mondays a little easier!

Wow, I never knew you’d spoken to Bear Grylls or baked with Kirstie Allsop (#goals), congrats! I love documenting stuff on my little corner of the internet too, I’ve only been blogging a year and a half but I already love looking back at posts and reminiscing.

I love it and its great to look back so far too – there are times I haven’t written for months but I am so glad I didn’t get rid of it as the memories are always there! xx
