After spending a good one and a half hours on a journey that usually takes me just under 40 minutes I have been seriously thinking about escaping to somewhere on my bucket list before the next bout of snow settles!
Of course top of the list is New York, doing all of the tourist usuals which include seeing the Statue of Liberty, ground zero and the Empire State Building. For some reason Staten Island appeals to me, I’m not sure if that is the amount of movies I have heard it mentioned in or because something is subconsciously telling me to visit, either way it is high on my list – of course by ferry!
Another bucket list adventure for me would be a cruise with the family during winter! I love the idea of heading off to one of the large Christmas markets in Norway or cruising around the Med catching some rays while enjoying a hot Christmas for a change! The thought of spending Christmas in Tobago is simply out of this world and to be able to visit so many other places on the way would be such a dream come true.
Stopping off at Aruba, Curacao, Grenada and Barbados among other stunning once in a life time holiday destination just seems like such a fabulous way to spend Christmas and especially the start of a new year.
