My kids are real chips of the old block and love to collect things, any things! I was exactly the same when I was younger too, if I had one of something I desperately needed the rest to complete my collection. These 4 inch replicas of some of our favourite superheros, childhood legends and of course daddys favourite, Star Wars characters have definitely given the kids the collectors bug!
With stitched on features and no loose parts they are ideal for young and old alike, the weighted bottoms mean they stand up right and familar faces mean that they will be popular with people of all ages. I have to admit I bagged the Wonder Woman one for myself – I mean, how cute is she!
The rise in the likes of the Avengers franchise means that you want to have ALL of the characters – stopping at Iron Man, Hulk and Captain America just isn’t going to cut it for my boys and hubby wants the rest of the Star Wars characters too! Poor Yoda and Chewbacca need some reinforcements!
With super friendly faces they are great little role play toys and Amelia even proclaimed that Chewbacca and the Hulk were besties…did you know that?! Nope, me either!
Did you know there is a whole Itty Bittys collector world out there? When we first received them I searched online to see where they were available and came across a whole new level of toy collecting. One thing I love to hear is that there are retired editions too, this is a collectors dream and I love the hunt of finding something that is otherwise out of circulation.
I can see this being the start of a new family addiction!
