Getting together for a cup of tea and some cake has to be one of the UKs favourite pastimes, I love nothing more than a good natter with friends over a hot drink and some chocolate coated treats. Add that you can also raise money for charity while eating the cake and the day just got a whole lot better!
Marie Curie are inviting everyone to take part in a Blooming Great Tea Party. Simply send off for your free fundraising pack and host a tea party to raise funds on behalf of Marie Curie. Host the party at home, work or even try to get your local school and whole community involved – the more the merrier!

You can hold your tea party any day you wish but the official party weekend is the 23rd to 25th of June, why not get everyone to bring cake and buy a slice from each other – all monies go into the charity box! Host a best cake competition where you have to pay to enter – all proceeds going to Marie Curie of course!
The Blooming Great Tea Party are also holding 3 competitions:
I have signed up and will be hosting a tea party on the 24th of June, we will be making this cake again as it was a real success and would love it if you made it for your tea party too! Simple instructions are below!

Lightly grease and flour the bundt tin. Alternatively use Wilton Cake Release which is lightly brushed onto the tin and gives for easy removal every time.
XOXO
