If you follow me over on Instagram you will know that I am totally obsessed with the garden at the minute. Why it has taken me 50 years to get the bug I really don’t know.
So far I have built planters, grown veggies from scratch and even picked some of my home grown basil today to create ice cream. It is so rewarding, I am slightly put out that I haven’t been doing this for years.
I was contacted by IBRAN who specialise in sustainable landscaping products. Each product is manufactured from 100% recycled plastic, sourced from within 20 miles of their Leicestershire factory. They agreed to send me a selection of products so that I could sample just how practical IBRAN products are for any garden.

All products come with a 10 year guarantee and are delivered straight from their factory. This keeps the cost down as there is no middle man.
My absolute favourite product is the PolyBrick. Giant plastic building blocks that require no skills and no tools! PolyBrick’s revolutionary building block system uses 100% recycled plastic to make any outdoor project simple and achievable. From garden walls, to picnic benches, to raised beds, bring your vision to life with our precision-engineered, sustainable solution.

The blocks are simply interlocked together just like the children’s blocks we all grew up playing with. I thought this was ingenious as it was so much fun to create my planter my way. Getting to choose the size and depth you require without any technical measuring. Simply build it up as you go and finish with the end caps for smooth edging.

Although they are not heavy, once locked together they provide a sturdy structure that is ideal for any planting needs. I am growing purple sprouting broccoli and herbs in mine!

I have also used 4 pieces of the gravel grid in the centre of our pebbled area as we eventually would like a heavy bird bath. This has created the perfect level setting for our future investment.
Block prices start from just 58p per block. Gravel grid is from just £3 per grid. All available from IBRAN
I was kindly sent these pieces by IBRAN. All views and opinions are my own and genuine.
