Wow I can’t believe a whole month has gone past since I posted my last bucket list!
I know February is shorter but this is getting silly! I am linking up again with Twinderelmo and her fabulous monthly blog ritual of what we would like to do in the coming 30 or so days. Before I launch in to what I would like to achieve lets get the numbers out of the way…
End of Jan figures:
Twitter: 1416
Instagram: 110
Facebook: 500
BlogLovin: 6
End of Feb Figures:
Twitter 1764 (+348)
Instagram 292 (+182)
Facebook 578 (+78)
Bloglovin (+ 128)
Having not been to hung up on my stats I have to say it’s lovely to see such an increase. I really can’t believe I have so many more lovely followers and hope you all stick around for a new competition coming in the next week or so, along with lots more posts on family, life, make up and everything in between!
Last month I listed 5 things I wanted to do and I’m not sure where the time went but I don’t think we did too bad! Number 1 was bake with the girls and we most certainly did that, they have helped with lunches and teas as well as making cakes, crumble and baking our own bread!
Number 2 was to get my blogging schedule in order and I have to admit I don’t have any posts scheduled ahead of time but I’m not finding it too hard to keep on top of at least 4 maybe 5 posts a week at the moment. So much going on so so many great things to post about!
Number 3 was clean eating – I did a meal planner, does that count! We don’t have any ready meals and they are all cooked from scratch but we do love a good Sunday roast with gravy, stuffing, puddings etc so I’m not being too harsh and cutting out everything! I did try and stay away from sandwiches and bread etc and substitute it with things I really love.
Number 4 was to schedule a date with hubby for Valentines night. Ok, so that didn’t happen and we were in bed asleep by 10pm I think (this getting older malarky is just too much!) BUT we did have a lovely meal out last Friday, just me, hubby and Amelia so that is a start! haha (Review of Bay Horse Durham coming soon)
And finally number 5 was to craft more! It’s Mothers day soon so I have made a start on 2 albums for my mum and mother in law, ( which I can’t show pictures of since I know they both blog stalk! Love you both and see you both this coming weekend!) I also have to make a baby book and 3 brooch rosettes too – crafting is looking up!
February!
I would love to see my numbers increase again so will document those each month.
We are going to be making more time to play games, actual physical family games and not online! We have noticed, that unchecked, the boys are willing just to play for hours and to be honest its always been a bone of contention in this house. Now though we are limiting their online time and organising activities to keep them busy and their minds off their x-boxes. Whether that be a walk in the woods, card games, dominos etc – it doesn’t really matter, family time is going to be just that – WHOLE family time!
Everyone I know thinks I am so lucky when it comes to competitions but boy do you have to put the work in for them. A few years ago it was never as busy as it is now and you could enter a competition with maybe 1000 entries max – now though you are lucky if it’s less than 4000 which obviously slims down the chances of winning! However, you’ve got to be in it to win it so get entering! Enter as many as you can because when that winning email, text, letter or phone call comes through it makes it all worthwhile! This month is going to see me step up my competitions and enter daily (maybe just put aside 30 minutes a night to enter as many as i can!)
I really would like to do at least one style post!
I have the complete outfit in mind, know how I’m going to do my hair and make-up but it’s just the actual being in front of the camera – full length – that scares the c**p out of me! We are talking about to throw up, do I look too fat at that angle, (unless we take it from the moon you are going to be a size 16 from whatever angle honey!), are people watching me (because no one has anything better to do obvs!!).. you get the idea! Well this month I want to be a big girl (pun intended!) and actually go for it!
Remember to head over to Twinderelmo blog to link up with this months bucket list too!
XOXO
Debbie

Wow well done on the stat growth that’s really good! Keep going & it’ll pay off
That meal looked scrummy! We never go out in Valentines day usually just before or after
4000 entries is crazy but I guess someone has to win!!!
Good luck with March and thanks so much for linking again xxxx
