I thought as it’s been a long time since I did a little catch up on here, I would tell you how we are all doing and what we are getting up to right now.
Having just got over the most awful sickness bug I am feeling much better. I am putting it down to nuts and dairy. Honestly, since I had my gall bladder out, 4 years ago, I have been torturing myself eating and drinking things I shouldn’t.
Yes, I read all of the do/don’t leaflets but none of it really sunk in and I presumed everything would be find. Well, enough is enough! I really needed to sit this weekend and write down all of the things I need to either cut out completely or cut down on in my diet.
I really am not going through another day feeling as bad as I did and I hate being sick so to be constantly vomiting with crippling stomach pain for 12 hours was really not good.
Aside from needing to get my diet in order things are going well. We decorated for Christmas a couple of weeks early. There really isn’t much that differentiates each day right now so we thought why the heck not! Trees are up in both the hallway and living room and the elves helped decorate the windows!

Evie has taken charge of the elves this year and is relishing the challenge. It really is lovely to see her excited to keep the magic alive for Amelia.

Amelia is totally obsessed with sloths right now so all she asked for from Santa for Christmas was ‘sloth things’. Luckily there seems to have been an abundance in stores this year and I have managed to pick up a few games and soft toys, chocolates, clothing etc. Evie as usual is Our Generation mad and we hit it lucky with a couple of purchases from TK Maxx. There’s no way we could have bought them full price but you all know how much I adore TK and since I’m in there almost every day we don’t miss much!

Christmas this year is going to be spent with my sis on Christmas Eve again and then all of the family on Christmas Day. I am so looking forward to it, having everyone in one place finally – fingers crossed we get some good pictures!
