Seriously, I seem to blink and the weeks fly by, it’s scary…very scary and now that the nights are starting to get dark just after 4 I want to hibernate. I want to wrap up in a blanket, light some candles and snuggle with the kids until the snow starts falling outside.
I adore the autumn and winter, I love the whole hygge feeling of it all, hot chocolate with melted marshmallows and cream, comfort food and thick woolly tights, pulling the duvet up over my head and hoping for another 5 minutes on the alarm just so I don’t have to step out of bed into the cold.
November is well and truly here!
This past week we have spent a lot of time playing games and spending quality time together indoors. There are some good TV shows about to start and I have to admit there are quite a few good songs in the charts right now so I am a happy bunny (well, once I have my hat…scarf…gloves…)

Greys. I know I am so behind the times with this but I have it on every night when I go to bed and I am up to Season 8 episode 22. Having watched the first 6 or so series when they were first aired I let it slide but right now I am loving it and can’t get enough – Sloane still has my heart!

You know when you hear a song and something inside you just feels it, feels all of the emotion?
Rita Ora, Anywhere.
This song has me almost in tears each time I hear it, it’s simply that chorus that just makes me want to close my eyes and drift away. It makes me sad and happy at the same time and that’s what a good song should do right?! I love this and could listen to it 24/7.

Chocolate gin! Be still my heart. Is there anything else that a girl could need?! YES! Chocolate gin cupcakes – coming soon, keep an eye on this page for step by step and recipe!

I am feeling so confident with my weight loss lately that I popped on a dress the other day, whipped on a one of my thick belts and have to admit I felt pretty damn amazing! Having picked up this dress from Asda for £12.50 in the sale I have to admit its going to be a one of my staples throughout winter with leggings and boots. I love the embroidery and the colours are perfect for Autumn too!
I am so pleased with work right now, things are going really well and I am so grateful for everything that comes my way. I am truly blessed to be able to work from home and be with the children while doing something I love!
XOXO
Debbie

I’ve never seen Grey’s Anatomy! Everyone raves about it, I need to give it a watch!
Ok. So Chocolate Gin cupcakes sound heavenly – can’t wait to see the recipe 🙂
I love posts like this, I think it is so important to look on the things we enjoy doing. I love the florals on that dress and such a bargain as well!
Ooh Greys is back!! I need to get it on catch up. I definitely prefer the older seasons but I still enjoy it. Have a great week xx
November has crept up on me. I love the print of your dress.
