The chill has taken over and my sandals have been packed away for this year! Don’t get me wrong I’m not complaining as I love nothing more than a good pair of boots but this year, I am on the lookout for something a little different as I get sick of wearing the same one’s time and time again! Heels are starting to be a no-no and some of the ankle ones just make my legs look shorter, yet some of the knee length won’t even attempt to go around my calves! JEEZ how hard is it to buy a decent pair of women’s boots!
With that in mind I have come up with a Wishlist of ones that I think might do the job…
I love the strap and stud detail on these ones and I think they would work well under jeans too! The fact the heel is not too high would make them super comfortable for long time wear too. I am travelling to the United States towards the end of October and know full well we will be walking most of the time, there is so much we want to see. A short ankle boot will work well with both dresses/tights and jeans too so I can switch up from day to night and not worry about having to pack too much!
These Black knee high boots look quite stretchy so would more than likely fit around my chunky calves! I struggle to find boots that are a decent fit. Either they are baggy around the leg, which means they fall down if wearing tights etc. Or they are too tight in which case, if you can get them fastened, they are causing pain within 5 minutes of putting them on. Never mind the getting them off too!

I adore these Dark Red Patent Chelsea Boots and can imagine wearing them with everything, yes i know they are ankle boots but when something is that pretty I will forgo the fact I look 3 ft tall! I do adore that Chelsea boots go with absolutely everything! I could wear these with leggings, t-shirt and cardigan, and still feel as though I was ready for autumn. I think its all about the layers at this time of year!

The Volara Dina Boots look so comfortable and I love the thin strap detail, these would look amazing with jeans! I love the look of cowboy boots but I am not rocking up in America wearing cowboy boots for fear of people thinking being sarcastic! I mean, if we sign up for line dancing or something then I may need to spoil myself on a genuine pair while I am out there. But for now, I’m holding off!

I am still looking and yet to find the ideal pair of boots that I will settle for this year. I do love a new pair each year, it’s just what style to go for! Do you have a regular style you suit or do you go for whatever is in fashion?
