Another month has almost gone and this one has been packed with so many fabulous days in, days out and celebrations!
This month we celebrated 2 birthdays, Benjamin turned 20 and 5 days later Amelia turned 2. A surprise meal out was the order of the day for Benjamin thanks to his lovely girlfriend Lauren and we had a quiet day at home for Amelias birthday, spending time playing and eating Colin the Caterpillar cake!
There have been lots of meals out this month, The Durham Street Food Project in Durham was amazing as always, La Tasca went down a storm with their delicious calamari and paella and Zizzi with their King Prawn Linguine!
We have had some fabulous days out this month including Animals Inside Out at Life, spending time down by Durham river and we are really looking forward to heading out to Edinburgh Zoo and Beamish in June!
A few personal accomplishments this month include making cooked breakfast for 9 and roast dinner for 14 on the same day, 10 hours solid sleep and finding some fabulous new friends!
What with the gorgeous sunshine and lots of laughs, May has certainly been a great month!
Here’s hoping June is even better!
