It all started over 25 years ago with a tube of toothpaste brought home from kindergarten by the son of the founders, Andreas Wilfinger and Ulla Wannemacher. Shocked by its many questionable ingredients that they didn’t want their son to be exposed to. Seeing that most skin care products contained questionable ingredients as well, they realised that something had to change. That was the moment when a visionary business idea was born: fresh and effective skin care, manufactured entirely without unnecessary ingredients. It was the start of an Austrian success story.
I love discovering new skincare and if you have followed me for a while you will know I love to switch up my routine. Trying new products is something I do often as my skin ages. The skin around my nose has started to get a little dry and for some reason I have been having pimple breakouts, which is, at 48, annoying more than anything!
Having been asked if I would like to review the RINGANA range of skincare products and toiletries I jumped at the chance. I read up on the company ethos and sustainability pledge, this is something I appreciate as a consumer and mother too. Finding items that will not cause long term damage to the environment, yet still be kind to skin, is imperative if we are to call ourselves environmentally friendly.
I was sent the FRESH Travel Set, Rich (for dry skin) which is priced at £56.78. Having used the products for the past two weeks I was delighted to find that they all had very subtle, natural scents. I hate using products that are overly perfumed or have a strong ‘clean and almost chemical’ smell. The creams were long lasting and went on a dream. A little certainly goes a long way so value for money is a great selling point for RINGANA too.
My favourite product from the FRESH Travel Set was the anti wrinkle serum. Not only did it absorb into my skin almost immediately, but it did not leave any sticky residue on my hands either. My skin felt instantly smoother and I had a glow, not the kind you get from a layer of cream or product but an actual shimmer to my skin, like a healthy blush!
I love the fact that they don’t just have skin care but also deodorant and feminine hygiene products. Having suffered with infections due to highly scented bath bombs or toiletries it is nice to have something specifically created with our PH balance in mind.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed using the products and would not hesitate to use more of the RINGANA range!
