…But it’s so cold!!
I am seriously hoping all the freezing prep work will be worth it this year when it comes to spring/summer and the kids being able to play outside. We have a rather large garden so we are about to set to work and incorporate lots of ideas to keep the kids busy over the school holidays, weekends etc once the sun makes and appearance.
These are some of my most favourite ideas and I will be updating with pictures and how to blog posts once we complete each task.
All of these ideas along with their original links can be found on my With The Kids Pinterest page, I will be adding more as there are too many cute ideas out there!
This one will appeal to both the boys and girls, although I think this year the boys might be a little too old for this kind of thing sadly. I cant wait to see them digging up fossils and taking the time to uncover dinosaurs (…coming from the person who has watched Jurassic Park on a loop since it was released!)
Not sure about your children but mine are forever wanting to draw on things with those giant chalks ….walls, pavements…. you get the idea! This would be super cute and keep it all in one place (plus I could take a picture at the end of the day before it gets cleaned ready for the next!) Great way to document to summer!
Our children love board games, giant garden games and I can see this being a huge success when family and friends are around for BBQs etc too! This is most definitely on hubbys to do list this year!
I love these fairy gardens and will be making them with both the girls this year! I can see both Evie and Amelia picking out lots of little pieces to add to their gardens and think this will be a lovely way to spend some quality time with them both this spring!
So excited to make a start! Please remember to check out the Pinterest link and I would love it if you would share your ideas for keeping the kids entertained outdoors this year too!
XOXO
