As much as I love it when I get the chance to review items I love it all the more when it is something that I know the girls will enjoy or treasure. We were recently contacted by Peter Jackson Jewellers who asked us if Evie would like to choose something from their D For Diamond Childrens Jewellery range.
Of course, Evie was delighted to choose and review a piece for herself and chose the beautiful Angel Locket. With a 14 inch Sterling silver chain this stunning locket is decorated with gold plating and a genuine diamond.
The pendant comes complete with signature D for diamond gift box and bag and a little handwritten card that says who the gift is for. Which we thought was a lovely touch. The box and card etc are all a stunning pink with daisy floral detail so work really well as a themed present even down to the daisy gift tag.
The gift box is a very sturdy keepsake box which would be perfect for keeping treats in once the locket is in a jewellery box. I love the fact you don’t need to loosen the ribbon each time you open it either as the top just slides off.
For a long time Evie has worn costume jewellery and she loves her sparkle so this is a natural progression for her. I have a locket myself and she is always asking to see the pictures inside. Now she has her own she is torn between having mummy and daddy or the dog and cat! I don’t know whether to laugh or cry!
There is a huge range of beautiful pieces for young children ranging from bangles for babies to necklaces and earrings for those a little older. These would make a fabulous gift for birthdays, Christmas or Christenings and are a great keepsake for any little girl.
