There’s nothing I love more at Christmas time than sitting watching a movie and wrapping gifts. A lot of people think it’s the worst part of the festive season! For me it’s a highlight!
So far this week I have spent most nights sitting watching cheesy Netflix Christmas movies, hot chocolate by my side and wrapping up presents to go under the trees.
I created a hot chocolate station as the girls are just as eager as I am. Every day they count down to when it’s hot chocolate time. Which is usually after dinner and when we are settling down for the night.
Tonight’s movie is The Santa Claus 2, we watched the first one earlier this week and I couldn’t believe that Amelia didn’t remember it at all! I know we didn’t watch it last year as they were obsessed with Princess Switch so that was on non stop! Yes, we have already watched all 3 of those this year too. Have you seen them? They are typical Hallmark style movies and easy watching.
Right now I am making list of what else I need to get for gifting. I think I have been pretty much on the ball this year and there is just one more thing I need to track down. Presents are all wrapped and in bags ready to hand out on Christmas day.
I still need to wrap the girls gifts but that will happen when they are at their dads on Friday night. Otherwise all I end up doing is shooing them out of the room all night and that’s no fun for anyone!
