When I moved home I vowed that I was going to get rid of lots, and I did, but somehow when I came here I found that I still have way too much for the room available! There is very little storage so I need to come up with creative ways to hide and disguise certain things.
I have written a wishlist of items from HomeTreatsUK that I know will help me create the sanctuary I want from my light and bright bedroom/office!
Knowing I was going to be able to have my office in the bedroom meant that I wanted everything hidden away, I hate piles of paperwork and review items out on display while waiting for work to be completed. Ditto with clothing and I have decided against having any built in structures, until I can afford the white country style armoire I love! In the meantime I need to ‘hide’ as much as possible as I only have a small rail for dresses and skirts etc and that will be on constant display.
Trying to keep everything as clean as possible top of my wishlist would be one of the mosaic mirrors, no protruding frames but still enough wow to make an impact. I can have this above my drawers and sit to do my make up with out having a large free standing mirror taking up space.
I have made a start with storage bags, these have minimised the clothing that I have on the display rack and since I am not having wardrobes I really need to compact as much as possible. Thankfully the British weather is pretty predictable so I have packed away all but a couple of my winter jumpers and big heavy coats.
Thankfully I have a rather large cupboard which houses the boiler in my bedroom so that will be used for keeping the likes of the suitcases and my craft things out of sight. On the door I will hang a coat rack on the inside of the cupboard to hide my dressing gown, bags and coats, still easily accessible if we have a sudden downpour or I need to switch things up.
To keep the office side of the bedroom tidy I love this simple desk which has 3 drawers and shelves too, I can hide most of my craft goodies in the drawers and use the shelves to hold review items.
I need some drawers for underwear, t-shirts etc so will be sticking with the clean white look of these drawers. With simply silver fittings and clean lines this will be the perfect addition as a stand for my bedroom lamp and jewellery box.
Now to keep the little ones with their grubby hands out of the room and with the help of this wishlist I may be able to have my blissful bedroom after all!
XOXO

For those who prefer a more traditional home-like experience when on vacation, a timeshare can make sense. If you’ve gotten many years of good use out of your timeshare and now want to get rid of it, a timeshare cancellation company like Timeshare Freedom Group or Lonestar transfer may be able to help.
