Teenagers are notoriously more difficult to shop for – birthdays, Christmas, special occasions etc. Evangeline is about to turn 15 and although she collects specific things that are perfect gifts I thought it might be nice to get her something that she can keep. Something she can wear on special occasions or keep close with her at all times.
Jewellery is such a lovely way to tell someone that you care about them. For younger teenagers, it can make them feel grown up and pretty. For older teens, moving away to university or finishing exams, it can be a reminder of family who love them and are really rooting for them.

Jewellery is such a personal item that I think you really need to know someone to buy them something to suit their tastes. Do they like gold or silver, are they a fashion jewellery person or more of an understated classic piece lover. I think young girls should always have something in their jewellery box that invokes a memory or is special to them and Jewellery For Teens is a great starting point for a huge selection of pieces to bring a smile. A simple pearl earring or birthstone necklace. It doesn’t have to be huge or statement to mean a lot!
Being a teenager was difficult 15 years ago, when I was one! But in today’s age, with the impact of social media, I think it must be doubly difficult! Sparkle was created to help the adults in a teenager’s life give them a boost through gifting, that’s why we introduced our confidence collection, so your favourite teen girl can carry their confidence boost with them.
Jewellery for Teens – The Confidence Collection
As Evie was born in May, her birthstone is the Emerald and to be honest she isn’t the biggest fan of green so the whole birthstone idea was dead in the water before I even started looking! She is however a huge fan of hearts and florals, silver is her favourite too so at least I knew I had a starting point.
I found the most adorable small Special Zircon Heart Stud earrings which would work for any situation and could be something that is both dressed up or simply worn with jeans and a white t-shirt – classic. There is also the most adorable collection of necklaces, from elephants to spacemen and simple solid hearts to ornate gemstone pendants.
My personal favourite, and I am sure would be Evies too, was the selection of lockets. The idea of carrying around personal photographs is hugely appealing to us as we are a very close family. Even is it is a picture of the cat (she dotes on Fluffy!) at least she knows she has a little piece of home with her no matter where she is!
I adore the fact I can also shop by age or product type. When I was 15, in the 80s, it was all plastic jewellery and garish colours! It is nice to be able to find something appropriate without too much stress of getting it wrong! Thank you to Lucy for such a fabulous and inspiring site that will help find that perfect present for any occasion.
