Sky Kids App – Are We Still Using It?

In short to answer my title question, YES!  We reviewed the Sky Kids App last month and we are still using it on an almost daily basis.  The girls love watching their programmes and it gives me peace of mind that they can’t click onto any nasties!

While wrapping up presents I was pleased to have the peace and quiet knowing that they were sitting in Evies room watching and talking about their favourite shows.  I have found it has given me a little more time to watch and catch up on my own programmes too – they aren’t hogging the TV remote any longer and I am no longer subject to Peppa Pig or Adventure Time over and over again!

 Since our last campaign the Sky Kids App has won Mumsnet Rated – 103 Mumsnet testers tried the Sky Kids App: 94% would use again and 97% would recommend.

We have quite a few Christmas events planned where travel is involved too, it takes over an hour on the bus to get to Newcastle from our home.  We will be taking along the kids tablets so that they can watch on the way to the pantomine, we are also heading out to the nearest ice rink which is also over an hour away.  This would normally drive me nuts what with the ‘Are we there yet?’ comments but thankfully now its just a case of watching a couple of their favourite shows and we magically appear where we need to!

Sky Kids is sponsoring the ice rink at Winter wonderland this year! No one likes queuing with kids – so with iPads in the queueing area, mums and dads can entertain their little ones with the Sky Kids app while they wait to skate with festive games, quizzes and their favourite shows’.

I certainly wish we were within visiting distance of Winter Wonderland but thankfully we have so many other things planned I really can’t wait for December to arrive.
