The girls are huge fans of online games and to be honest I really don’t mind them playing ones that are aimed at children their ages. Roblox has been a favourite for a long time and they even watch Youtube videos with the likes of Little Kelly etc who create whole stories and universes. This is encouraging for the girls as they can see what is possible with a little time and concentration.
We were asked if we would like to review a bundle of toys from the Roblox series 5 release. This included 2 mystery figures (£4.99 each), Duel Droid 5000 (£7.99), Night of the Werewolf pack (£12.99) and the Jailbreak mega pack (£19.99). We love that the characters and pieces are jointed so can be positioned etc and that they are all mix and match so work well together.
The toys are a great way to get kids off the tablet or pc and actually playing too, although I don’t limit screen time it was fun to watch the girls create their own scenarios and stories.
There are 24 mystery figures to collect and the characters are all well known so its a great surprise to find one you have played with online. I really don’t mind buying the girls pocket money toys when they are good quality and something they enjoy. In each pack is an online exclusive code to redeem to unlock special items.
Jailbreak is one of the more well known online games as I have seen the girls actually playing this one. You can choose to be either the police or prisoner, which means you can either go on to rob banks etc or save the day as police. I am pleased to say the good guy always wins and justice is served.
To be honest I think the girls will be adding sets to their Christmas list as they have thoroughly enjoyed bringing their online antics to life. The toys are all available from Smyths toy superstore and all good toy stockists.
