From being a small child I have loved jigsaws, whether it be huge floor puzzles or a PC game.
Over time though you realise some things give your more of a challenge than others and to be honest there are very few puzzles of 1000 pieces that I cannot do within one afternoon.
This of course can get tedious when you have mountains of jigsaws that you have done time and time again, yet you know whenever you get them out you are going to simply plough through them again.
Gradients by Cloudberries is a puzzle based exactly what it says in the name. Centred around the spectrum of colours of the rainbow this is a puzzle that will keep you focussed until completion. I found it very therapeutic to work through depths of colour rather than images.
The thing with gradients puzzles is that you completely lose yourself, there is no concentrating on who’s face goes where or which scenery piece fits. This is simply a case of placing colours in order of dark to light and which blends into the next.
I found this more a therapeutic piece of work rather than a puzzle. I zoned out quite often and found myself more meditating than concentrating if that makes sense.
Overall these are my new favourite jigsaws, I really didn’t think I could relax more while having some time out doing things I enjoy but Cloudberries have opened up a whole new realm of possibilities!
We were gifted this jigsaw for the purpose of a review, all views and opinions are my own and genuine.
