As a mum of 6 now raising 2 girls by herself coffee is a daily essential! Brewing up a fresh batch each morning is a ritual now and something that helps me get through each day! AND as much as I jest about such things, you all know that coffee is the one staple in most days. Whether we be making it ourselves or treating someone to a drink on the way to work. Coffee is life – simple!
I was kindly gifted the new Melitta AromaFresh II Filter Coffee Machine for review. Having worked with Melitta in the past I knew full well this machine was going to be amazing and downright simple to use.
Having had a number of coffee machines that require hoop jumping, contortions and expensive add ons to operate I can safely say this AromaFresh is a simple plug in and go machine!
Each coffee bean holds more than 800 aromas and true coffee lovers know: only freshly ground beans can develop their full flavour. The durable ceramic grinder in the new Melitta® AromaFresh with variable grinding fineness adjustment helps to highlight them all and thus guarantees particularly aromatic coffee enjoyment. Freshly ground, carefully brewed and perfectly filtered – no matter how many cups you select, with the new Melitta® AromaFresh, each filter coffee will be a spectacle of coffee aromas.
The clock was super simple to programme with the touch of a button and the timer (which I have never been able to grasp on any other coffee machine) was really easy to use.
Then it is simply a case of filling the water container up to the cup level required and pressing the go switch.
The integrated ceramic grinder with eleven different grinding fineness settings forms the heart of the new AromaFresh filter coffee machine. You can set the grinding fineness from fine to coarse according to your personal taste – for particularly aromatic filter coffee.
One of my favourite features of the AromaFresh is the filter with drip stop.
Drops of coffee on the keep-warm plate are a thing of the past. The filter has an integrated drip stop that prevents annoying dripping after you remove the jug.
The bean grinder can be switched off too to allow for already ground filter coffee. The AromaFresh coffee machine has a practical hinged filter holder with removable filter insert. This makes inserting the coffee filter particularly easy. After brewing, the filter insert can be easily removed to dispose of the coffee filter.
Now is the perfect time to create homemade coffee with a splash of peppermint syrup, whipped cream and sprinkles! Perfect Christmas treat!
