Living Arrows is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”
This week we are on to week 3 of the kids summer holidays so we are making the most of having late nights and lazy mornings. One of my favourite times of day is bath time, well, until it ends in chaos and a tsunami inevitably hits the bathroom!
Another one of our favourite things to do are jigsaws, whether they are kiddy ones or adult 1000 piece ones, the kids love everything from sorting out the outside pieces to finding the one I am always looking for! It takes me twice as long to sort the edges as the kids love to ‘help’ and with that always comes missing pieces and a mix of both…this time we did it all no problem so that definitely warranted a thumbs up from Amelia!
What a lovely linkup – I think it’s always wonderful celebrating childhood and the simple pleasures such as time not he beach or bath time fun
