For the longest time one of our favourite pastimes has been baking. I think what with everything going on this year, spending time in the kitchen, has taken on a whole new meaning for lots of families.
One of our favourite bakers is Nadiya Hussain, past winner of Great British Bake Off and someone who loves to cook with her own family. We loved watching her on the TV and we are delighted that she has created a range of baking sets for children, making it easier for them to join in with their own utensils.
After winning 2015’s Great British Bake Off, Nadiya has gone on to capture the hearts of the nation. She has presented several of her own cookery series and food travelogues to great acclaim and being shown both on BBC and Netflix. This saw Nadiya return to her baking roots with the book and BBC 2 series Nadiya Bakes. Outside of her own series Nadiya regularly appears in the press and on TV talking about her work, her life and sharing her thoughts on topical issues. She is increasingly seen as a role model.
Amelia is a nightmare for making a mess with mini tools so for her to have her own utensils that are the same size as the ones I use is perfect. She has grown up using mine and seems to find ‘child size’ ones difficult to use. We were delighted to see that the ones included in the kit were a good size.
