Slow down, stay little for a while longer…please!
There does not seem to be a day goes by where I don’t fall into bed and wonder where the time has gone. This is more evident lately since the girls have been poorly with cold and the boys are holed up in their rooms talking to their friends or girlfriends etc.
Amelia is 2 this year and Evie 6! When did that happen?? They were both babies not 2 minutes ago!
Now, Evie is a little sushi loving, make up adoring, you-tube watching diva with an incredible sense of humour that makes us giggle every day!
She acts all grown up and even told me the other day to put blusher ‘on the apples of your cheeks mummy, youtube said’ jeez! She has also just lost her first tooth and I am not even going to go into the drama that that involved – lets just say Gwenyth’s Oscar acceptance speech has nothing on the performance here!
Amelia is a little red headed fire ball who keeps us on our toes, knows what she does and doesn’t want and darn well makes sure she gets it! She has a killer pout…and don’t even think of leaving the room without a kiss!
She loves dancing and dressing up, hates to think you have something on your plate that she doesn’t and most of all loves cuddles and her big brothers and sister!
I don’t know if its because I know Amelia is the last of our babies or if time really is just going by too fast. I just want things to slow down a little….just for a while.
